Hobbies

My goal is to be a Calculus teacher. I was a secondary education mathematics major for three and a half years before swapping to a major in mathematics with a minor in mathematics education. I changed major concentrations because I had an opportunity to compete for a fellowship from UA's Mathematics Department which thankfully paid for my grad school education. I'm currently looking for a full-time teaching position, but I graduated in December so I might not find a teaching job I'm interested in until August when the new school year starts. I teach a four-year-old Sunday School class at my local church. I marched in the Million Dollar Band for 3 years.
